How to Try a World Model
"World model" covers a wide range of actual access — some are a free, instant, no-login demo; others sit behind a paid subscription, a waitlist, or exist only as a developer API. A few are published research with no public access at all yet. This page is about how and where to access what QuantWorlds tracks; for the actual list of destinations that are confirmed playable right now, see Playable Worlds.
Free, no login required
8 of the Worlds QuantWorlds has hands-on verified open cleanly with no account and no meaningful friction — real-time control confirmed to actually work, not just described as interactive.
- STARSPEED: Zero-G Aerial Combat
- Custom 3D Avatar
- Third-Person Character Controller
- Dormant Memories
- Musée du Monde
- Khora Live Demo (DUST II)
- Odyssey-1 Playable Experience
- Synth Splat

Playable, with some friction
5 more are genuinely playable but involve something disclosed before you get in — a capacity queue, a heavy asset download, or occasional lag the creators themselves note. Real access, just not frictionless.
- Vapor Splat — Reached by walking through the shared World Jam museum (WASD) rather than a direct deep link — positively confirmed reachable as the nearest exhibit to spawn.
- Memory House — ~235MB splat download, roughly 35 seconds to load before it becomes interactive.
- OpenDreamer Live Demo — Capacity queue before entry, then a time-limited (~3 minute) session.
- Dwarf Caves — Very heavy Gaussian splat load (73M splats) — can take 30+ seconds.
- Interactive World Simulator — Cloud demo may be laggy or unavailable per the creators' own disclosure — confirmed during testing.
Requires an account, payment, or isn't up right now
Some catalogued Worlds are real and functioning but sit behind a login and a paid subscription (for example, Google's Project Genie requires an AI Ultra plan), or are temporarily returning errors on our last check. These are shown honestly rather than left out.
- Project Genie — gated: Login required (Google account), then gated behind a paid Google AI Ultra subscription.
- WorldPlay (HY-World 1.5) — gated: Hard login wall at entry — the specific experience behind it was not independently verified, though the underlying HY-World 1.5 model is independently verified and published elsewhere in this catalogue.
- Spatial Real Estate — temporarily unavailable: Currently returns HTTP 503 on repeated attempts.
- MIRA Live Demo — temporarily unavailable: Currently returns a server error ("Couldn't reach the server") on repeated attempts.
For developers — API access
7 models QuantWorlds tracks have a confirmed, documented API you can build against today, rather than only a first-party demo. This isn't every world model with an API anywhere — only the ones QuantWorlds has verified — so treat it as a starting point, not a complete market picture. See the full World Model APIs directory for a side-by-side comparison.

Not yet publicly accessible
A number of world models QuantWorlds catalogues are published research with no public demo, download, or API at all — code and a paper, sometimes not even that yet. These are still worth tracking (the field moves quickly), but there is nothing to click through and try. Each model's own page states plainly what is and isn't confirmed, rather than implying access that doesn't exist.
